Grizzlies’ World

Introduction

“Hey you!” “Do ya wanna learn about Grizzly bears?” if ya wanna then come with me on the K9 bus.

Physical Description

Before you’re gonna see a Grizzly, you need to know how he looks so you know you’re looking at the right bear. Grizzly’s are brown like many other bears and they are 7ft long. They weigh 1,500 pounds, but their babies are 1 pound. They have four legs and long claws. Grizzly’s have big snouts, black eyes and short ears. It’s tail is very short so don’t look for a tail when you’re looking to find a grizzly!

Grizzlies are mammals so they are:

Warm-blooded

Have fur or hair

Give birth to live young

Produce milk for young

Have lungs to breathe

Live on land or water

Habitat

Well, you gotta know where a grizzly lives or how you gonna find ‘em? Grizzlies live in mountains or forests. They live in the Arctic, Russia, Canada, Alaska, and other cold places. Bears hibernate in caves so a Grizzly bear’s habitat has to have a cave so the grizzly can hibernate but don’t make too much noise a grizzly can be easily awaken!

Adaptations

Well, now you’re gonna learn how that grizzly lives in cold icy places and how it captures it’s prey. Grizzlies have thick fur with a grizzled appearance (that’s how it got it’s name!) which let’s them survive in icy cold places like the Artic. Grizzlies have sharp, fast teeth and can run 35 miles per hour to easily catch their prey.

Enemies

You gotta know the enemies of a grizzly or ya don’t know when ta leave! The truth is, people are grizzly’s only enemies! This is how we take grizzlies:

Environment: we cut down for paper, fire logs, and other things like that.

Body: We use bear-teeth for necklaces, and we use bear skin for coats. Let’s stop hunting bears!

Here’s some loose things about a bear.

Grizzlies eat plants, roots, berries, fungi, fish, small mammals, and large insects ( ) salmon is one kind of fish they eat

Newborns weigh only 1 pound

They are ¾ nocturnal

They are plantigrade

Female bears eat lots of food before hibernation which is stored in a big hump under her skin so when she doesn’t have any food.

My Dad is my hero. He taught me how to read, write and how to be strong. He also taught me how to be hard working and gave me good choices. My Dad helped improve me in my skills. He is the one who made me love reading.

DREAMS

When I grow up, I wish to be an inventor like Thomas Edison or Alexander Graham Bell. I want to build things with microchips and circuits. I want to be a chef. I want to bake cakes and ice cream and I want to be like Remy from Ratatouille. I want to be an artist like Vincent Van Gogh making drawings everywhere.

HOPES

I hope to stop pollution so the earth will be clean and the air will be clean. More animals will be alive and we wont breathe polluted air. SAVE EARTH !!!!!!

Eric‘s visit

Yesterday I was too excited; ERIC WAS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eric is my best friend but in 1st grade he moved to Italy but every year he comes back for his birth day he always spends it with me! Then when Eric came we were super happy then we started playing base ball after a while Eric showed me some of his Gormeti [Italian action figures] we played with them and then came downstairs for some lunch we had some burritos went back up stairs and played with other toys [noise putty, magnets] then we scootered to the park and played hide and seek when we came back we went to the swimming pool and splashed around then we went to Baskin31Robins I got reeses cups and Eric got chocolate with peanuts then we went home, made our sleeping bags ate dinner and then wii played some Wii it was Eric’s 1st time playing but he still made some strikes! Then we went to bed zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…
DAY 2
In the morning we made French toast and pancakes then we played on the swing and went to the park to play base ball after playing base ball we went back home and played with the Gormeti then Eric’s mom came and picked Eric up

Wii got the Wii Finalii

Wii were going to our friend Jay's house and when wii got there we saw the Wii. Me and my brother were in disbelief. Wii played the Wii and when wii saw what wii could do with the Wii, wii begged for the Wii at all times. My dad said wii could earn the Wii if wii pass the GATE test. Well wii did but getting the Wii was not as easy as I thought.

My brother started calling stores from the CircuitCity to Fry's but with no luck for months. Soon most of our friends got the Wii until one day at my hardest basketball game so far my Dad and my brother went to Bestbuy where my dad asked "When are you going to get the Wii?" The storekeeper said we have some right now. My brother was just overjoyed. I only got the news after I won the basketball game which made me double happy.

When we got home we plugged the Wii and made a list of rules. Then we gave a nick name to the Wii - "White SKY" and put in all the settings. Then we made Mii's (Mii's are people on the Wii) and wii explored the Wii. Then we played some Wii sports (tennis, golf, baseball, boxing and bowling). I LOVE OUR Wii

Seussikal Musikal

Yesterday evening Joyma and Dennypa took me to Seussical Musical. First we went to Pizza Hut where I got a piece of pizza with cheese in the crust. We left at 6:30pm for the show. It was crowded. At least we reserved seats so we didn't have to find seats to sit.

At the beginning of the show it was like the book "CAT in the HAT". Then it was Horton Hears a Who. Next it was McElligott's Pool, and last was Green Eggs and Ham. Then we came home and I watched TV with my brother.

I think that was the best play ever. My favorite part was Green Eggs and Ham because it is a happy and fast song. I didn't like the sad and not so funny songs because they are sad and slow.
